1. A method for video conferencing on a conference device running a first conference application, the method comprising:
establishing a connection using the first conference application with a conference platform running on a server and in communication with a remote device, the first conference application and the conference platform facilitating communication between the conference device, the server and the remote device running a second conference application;
receiving conference data comprising first visual data from the server via the first conference application, the conference data generated by the remote device;
communicating the conference data to a receiver running a first collaboration application;
determining local input data comprising second visual data generated by a first input device in communication with the conference device;
sending the local input data to the server via the first conference application for presentation on the remote device;
receiving collaboration data comprising third visual data from the receiver, the collaboration data generated by a moderator device in communication with a receiver and running a second collaboration application, the first and second collaboration applications facilitating communication between the receiver and the moderator device; and
sending the collaboration data to the server via the first conference application for presentation on the remote device.
