1. A method for operating a network node in a first non-terrestrial network (NTN) that utilizes one or more polarization modes for serving one or more cells, the method comprising:
transmitting, to one or more user equipment (UEs), a first indication of at least one polarization mode configured for use in a first cell of the NTN and a second indication of at least one polarization mode configured for use in a second cell of the NTN, wherein one or more of the at least one polarization mode configured for use in the second cell is orthogonal to one or more of the at least one polarization mode configured for use in the first cell; and
transmitting and/or receiving one or more signals or channels in the first cell according to one or more polarization modes configured for use in the first cell, including the indicated at least one polarization mode.
