1. An apparatus, comprising:
processing circuitry configured to
determine an actual driving performance of a driver while the driver is driving a vehicle on a driving trip in a manual driving mode and a projected driving performance were the vehicle to be operated in an autonomous driving mode on the driving trip,
compare the actual driving performance of the driver in the manual driving mode on the driving trip with the projected driving performance were the vehicle to be operated in the autonomous driving mode on the driving trip, and
transmit feedback to the driver based on the comparison while the driver is driving the vehicle on the driving trip, the feedback including a prompt recommending the driver to switch the vehicle to the autonomous driving mode.
