1. A system for contactless communication within an educational campus comprising:
a. a network of scannable tags distributed throughout the educational campus, each tag in the network encoded with a universal resource locator (URL) that includes a unique tag identifier;
b. a remote server having a computer processor and a computer memory;
c. a database operatively connected to the remote server, the database containing content and information relating to each tag in the network, information for each tag including:
i. the unique tag identifier and a description of a point of interest at the educational campus that is linked to the tag, the point of interest having an identifiable location;
ii. a pointer to content to which a mobile device is to be redirected; and
iii. a status indicator to indicate a status of an issue that is communicated to the system; and
d. wherein the computer memory of the remote server stores executable code which, when executed, enables the remote server to perform a process comprising:
i. in response to using a first mobile device to scan a first tag in the network, obtaining the unique tag identifier from the URL used by the mobile device to access the server;
ii. redirecting the first mobile device to content identified by the pointer, the content including an option to communicate if there is an issue at or with the point of interest linked to the first tag;
iii. in response to receiving a communication about the issue from the first mobile device, determining who to advise about the issue; and
iv. updating the status indicator for the first tag to indicate that there is an unresolved issue relating to the point of interest linked to the first tag.
