1. A controller to control light intensity within a space, comprising:
control circuitry to:
determine a location of a remote-control device;
retrieve a user preference data that includes data representative of a target light intensity based on the determined location of the remote-control device;
receive, from a communicatively coupled sensor, a signal that includes data representative of a measured ambient light intensity;
determine a difference between the measured ambient light intensity and the retrieved target light intensity;
responsive to the determination that the ambient light intensity differs from the target light intensity by greater than a defined amount:
determine an artificial light target level and a natural light target level that, when combined provide the target light intensity;
cause one or more adjustments in luminous output from one or more lighting fixtures in the space to provide the artificial light target level; and
cause one or more adjustments in a position of a motorized window covering to provide the natural light target level.
