1. A mounting system comprising:
a barrel securable to a device via a bracket and configured to rotate the device relative to a mount, the barrel defining a hinge axis for the device;
a tongue extending from the barrel and configured to extend from the device for connection to the mount, the tongue comprising a duckbill shape, with the tongue tapering in thickness and width with distance away from the barrel; and
a friction hinge releasably holding the barrel at a desired position, the friction hinge comprising;
a torsion spring comprising a first end secured to the bracket and a second end indexed relative to the barrel, wherein the second end of the torsion spring is secured to a washer indexed with the barrel, and
a friction mechanism comprising a plurality of spring washers.
