1. A computer-implemented method for recharging a battery of an electric vehicle, the method being implemented via one or more processors, transceivers, servers, and/or sensors, the method comprising:
determining, via the one or more processors, whether the electric vehicle has a state of charge (SOC) below a predetermined threshold;
in response to determining that the SOC of the electric vehicle is below the predetermined threshold, determining, via the one or more processors, a plurality of charging locations in residential buildings which are capable of charging electric vehicles and are within a predetermined distance of a GPS location of the electric vehicle;
determining, via the one or more processors, time constraints or availability of the plurality of charging locations based at least upon an owner of at least one of the plurality of the charging locations in the residential buildings occupying the residential building during the charging of the electric vehicle;
ranking, via the one or more processors based upon various factors, the plurality of charging locations in the residential buildings as determined;
scheduling, via the one or more processors and/or transceivers, a rendezvous or appointment during which the electric vehicle is recharged at a highest ranked location in the residential buildings based upon the ranking and the time constraints or availability of the plurality of charging locations; and
recharging, during the rendezvous or appointment that is scheduled, the battery of the electric vehicle at the highest ranked location in the residential buildings, wherein the residential building is one or more of the following: an apartment complex, a condominium, or a single-family housing.
