1. An image calibration method, comprising:
receiving a flood field signal captured with an image detector from incident energy fluence produced by a signal source;
receiving a model that describes topological properties of the incident energy fluence on the image detector; and
generating a fluence-signal-fitted model of the incident energy fluence in the flood field signal based on the model, wherein the fluence-signal-fitted model includes separated frequency components of the flood field signal that are characteristic of variations in the incident energy fluence.
