1. A method usable with a medical device comprising electrodes implantable within a patient's spinal canal, the method comprising: providing stimulation to the patient's spinal cord via a first one or more of the electrodes; measuring a spinal signal at a second one or more of the electrodes, wherein the spinal signal comprises a neural response to the electrical stimulation; determining, from the spinal signal, a cardiac signal indicative of the patient's cardiac activity; and adjusting the stimulation at the medical device based on the cardiac signal.
