1. A system, comprising:
an enclosure having a cover portion that is opaque or translucent to visible light as viewed from outside of the enclosure, wherein the cover portion is transparent to infrared radiation;
an infrared sensor configured in the enclosure and behind the cover portion to be substantially invisible from the outside of the enclosure, the infrared sensor configured with a predetermined imaging direction through the cover portion with respect to the enclosure; and
a processor configured to process images captured by the infrared sensor to extract information.
