1. A medical device system comprising:
a structure; and
a plurality of electrodes positionable in a bodily cavity and supported by the structure, wherein the structure is selectively moveable between:
a delivery configuration in which the structure is sized to be percutaneously deliverable to the bodily cavity, and
a deployed configuration in which the structure is sized too large to be percutaneously deliverable to the bodily cavity, the structure arranged about an axis in a state in which the structure is in the deployed configuration,
wherein, in the state in which the structure is in the deployed configuration:
the axis passes through both a distal region of the structure and a proximal region of the structure, the distal region and the proximal region spaced from one another on opposite end regions of the structure,
a first group of electrodes from the plurality of electrodes are circumferentially arranged in a first circumferential arrangement about the axis in the distal region of the structure,
a second group of electrodes from the plurality of electrodes are circumferentially arranged in a second circumferential arrangement about the axis in the distal region of the structure,
a first electrode in the first group of electrodes is bisected by a plane having no thickness, the axis residing within the plane,
a second electrode in the second group of electrodes is intersected by the plane,
wherein the first electrode is symmetric about the plane,
wherein the second electrode is asymmetric about the plane, and
wherein the distal region of the structure includes an increased electrode spatial density compared to a region of the structure adjacent the distal region of the structure, and the asymmetry of the second electrode about the plane facilitates the increased electrode spatial density in the distal region of the structure.
