1. A seam tape, accessory material, or component material for an inflatable safety product, the seam tape, accessory material, or component material comprising:
a substrate of a flexible composite or fabric material, the substrate comprising a first side and a second side, and the substrate comprising polypropylene, polyarylate, polyamide, polyethylene, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, or liquid crystal polymer;
a hot melt adhesive layer on at least one of the first side or the second side of the substrate, wherein the hot melt adhesive is adhered to the substrate using only heat and pressure, wherein the hot melt adhesive layer is configured to adhere the seam tape, accessory material, or component material to a fabric or flexible composite material panel of the inflatable safety product, wherein the hot melt adhesive is a thermoplastic hot melt adhesive, a thermoset hot melt adhesive, or a reactive hot melt adhesive, and wherein the seam tape, accessory material, or component material comprises a material weight less than 8 ounces/yd2; and
a gas barrier film applicable to one or more surfaces of the substrate using the hot melt adhesive.
