1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
receiving a report of a push notification identified as spam, wherein the push notification is an automated message sent by an application to a user device when the application is unopen;
determining that a threshold number of push notifications identified as spam has been exceeded; and
responsive to determining that the threshold number of push notifications identified as spam has been exceeded, performing an action with respect to a sender of the push notification.
