1. A computing cloud for monitoring physical environments comprising:
one or more data storage mediums that stores at least one of project data, diagnostic data and environmental metric data, wherein the one or more data storage mediums stores virtual representations of a plurality of system devices located at at least one site, wherein the plurality of system devices are assigned different levels denoting different distances from a gateway device for time synchronization of the plurality of system devices; and
at least one processor configured to implement a system project application configured to allow a user to graphically explore at least the project data which comprises at least one project hierarchy, and to control graphical access to one or more applications based on at least credentials assigned to the user, wherein, in the at least one project hierarchy, the at least one project hierarchy has an association with the at least one site, the at least one site has an association with at least one building, the at least one building has an association with at least one floor, and the at least one floor has an association with at least one system device,
wherein navigation, by the user, between said associations in said at least one project hierarchy is restricted based on the credentials assigned to the user, and
wherein the one or more applications is implemented by said at least one processor and comprises one or more of:
a system intake application configured to graphically facilitate creation and manipulation, by the user, of a virtual model of the at least one building, which is associated with the at least one project hierarchy;
a system map application configured to enable the user to perform commissioning, localization and/or deployment of one or more system devices; and
a system energy application configured to graphically depict data produced using data analytics, the data analytics being based on at least one of the diagnostic data and the environmental metric data.
