1. A housing for an electronic device, the housing comprising:
an internal surface configured to face a receive power coil; and
an external surface configured to face a wireless power transmitter, the external surface and the internal surface on opposing sides of a housing wall, the external surface shaped to define one or more gaps between the external surface and a surface of the wireless power transmitter responsive to placement of the external surface into engagement with the surface of the wireless power transmitter, and the external surface comprising a different shape than a shape of the surface of the wireless power transmitter.
