1. A method of generating combined image feature sets stored in a computerized image recognition database configured for use in a computerized object recognition search of objects in images, the method comprising:
at a feature combining device, performing a geometric transformation on at least one of a first set of image features and a second set of image features to obtain feature locations expressed in a common coordinate system for each feature in the first set of image features and the second set of image features wherein the first set of image features is derived from a first image of an object and the second set of image features is derived from a second image of the object, the first image corresponding to a first object view and the second image corresponding to a second object view different from the first object view, the first image and the second image being independently captured or synthetically generated;
at the feature combining device, designating a combined feature set comprising the first set of image features and the second set of image features with feature locations expressed in the common coordinate system; and
associating, for storage in the computerized image recognition database, the combined feature set with an identifier of the object.
