1. A computer-implemented method for verifying an origin of an object, the method comprising:
receiving tracking information for an object in a digital architecture, wherein the tracking information comprises: (i) origin information for the object, and (ii) an attestation that references the origin information;
verifying authenticity of the attestation; and
after verifying the authenticity of the attestation, using the origin information in determining authorization to access the object.
