1. A method performed by a control arrangement of a vehicle; the vehicle comprising: a driveline arranged for providing a torque Tq_wheel to at least one drive wheel, the driveline comprising at least one engine, a clutch and at least one automated manual transmission gearbox; and at least one brake arranged for braking the vehicle, wherein the method comprising:
simulating, when the vehicle is travelling in an uphill slope using an initial gear Ginit of the at least one automated manual transmission gearbox, at least one speed profile vsim-1, vsim-2, . . . , vsim-n for a downshift to, and a usage of, at least one gear Ginit-1, Ginit-2, . . . , Ginit-n of the at least one automated manual transmission gearbox being lower than the initial gear Ginit in the uphill slope;
determining that a minimal speed vmin_1, vmin_2, . . . vmin_n of each one of the at least one simulated speed profile vsim-1, vsim-2, . . . , vsim-n has a value indicating that an actual speed vact of the vehicle will be less than or equal to zero; vsim-1≤0; vsim-2≤0, . . . , vsim-n≤0; in the uphill slope;
opening the clutch before the actual speed vact of the vehicle is reduced to a value less than zero; vact<0;
activating the at least one brake;
shifting the at least one automated manual transmission gearbox to a start gear Gstart;
closing the clutch; and
deactivating the at least one brake.
