1. A system for stimulating nervous tissue associated with one or more skeletal muscles of a subject to improve a lymphedema disorder, the system comprising:
a multiplicity of electrodes, coupleable to the subject;
a stimulation circuit, coupled to the multiplicity of electrodes;
a physiologic sensor, coupleable to the subject; and
a processor, operatively coupled to the physiologic sensor and the stimulation circuit, the processor programmed to direct the stimulation circuit to stimulate the nervous tissue associated with the one or more skeletal muscles of the subject according to at least one stimulation parameter, based at least in part on input from the physiologic sensor, specified to elicit transport of interstitial or lymph fluid to improve the lymphedema disorder.
