1. A method comprising:
controlling, by processing circuitry, delivery of an electrical stimulation therapy defined by a set of therapy parameters to a patient;
ceasing, by the processing circuitry, delivery of the electrical stimulation therapy;
sensing, by the processing circuitry, an electrically evoked compound action potential (eECAP) signal while delivery of the electrical stimulation therapy has ceased;
comparing a value of one or more parameters of the sensed eECAP to a predetermined value;
determining, based on the comparison of the value of the one or more parameters of the sensed eECAP to the predetermined value, a time to resume delivery of the electrical stimulation therapy; and
resuming, at the determined time, delivery of the electrical stimulation therapy.
