1. An image processing apparatus comprising:
one or more memories storing instructions; and
one or more processors executing the instructions to:
acquire a first image obtained by capturing an optical image by an optical system including a high distortion region in which distortion is large and a low distortion region in which distortion is small;
cut out a partial image region from the first image to acquire a second image; and
expand the second image by an expansion magnification corresponding to distortion of the optical system,
wherein the second image subjected to the expansion is output to a display device,
wherein the low distortion region of the optical system is a region in which the distortion of the optical system is less than a first threshold,
wherein the high distortion region of the optical system is a region in which the distortion of the optical system is greater than or equal to the first threshold, and
wherein the one or more processors further execute the instruction to perform cutout from the first image so as not to include an image region in which distortion in a vertical direction is greater than or equal to the first threshold.
