1. An optical device, comprising:
an imaging system provided to generate a plurality of images being distributed over an imaging plane,
a micro-lens-array, MLA, wherein micro-lenses of the MLA are assigned to respective individual images of the plurality of images and are provided to form respective channels of light beams by projecting the respective individual images towards a projecting plane,
an optical expander being arranged between the MLA and the projecting plane, the optical expander comprising an input surface facing the MLA and at least two output surfaces facing the projecting plane, the optical expander being provided to fan out and direct the channels of light beams onto the projecting plane, such that
individual projections of the individual images are formed on the projection plane by the channels of light beams directed onto the projection plane, and
an overall projection is formed on the projection plane by superimposing the individual projections at least partially,
wherein at least two of the output surfaces of the optical expander are tilted with respect to each other.
