1. A retaining sheet for retaining to a slat of a venetian blind, the slat having a through hole for penetration of a lifting cord, the retaining sheet comprising:
a main body having an upper surface, a lower surface opposite to the upper surface, a hole passing through the upper and lower surfaces, and a slot passing through the upper and lower surfaces and communicating with the hole and having a width smaller than a width of the hole;
wherein the main body is configured when the retaining sheet is retained to the slat of the venetian blind, the hole of the main body corresponds to the through hole of the slat, and the lifting cord is penetrated through the hole and the through hole and inserted into the slot when pulled by an external force;
wherein the hole has a front side edge, a rear side edge, a left side edge, and a right side edge, and the main body comprises a plurality of said slots extending away from the hole and disposed at the front and rear side edges of the hole or the left and right side edges of the hole.
