1. A container system comprising:
an outer container;
an inner container sized and dimensioned to fit within the outer container, with an outer surface of said inner container spaced from an inner surface of the outer container; and
an insulating enclosure disposed within the inner container, said insulating enclosure comprising an insulating mass encased in a first casing, said insulating mass comprising of a plurality of layers of single faced cardboard panels, and said casing comprising a compostable polymer; wherein
the outer container comprises a first cuboid box;
the inner container comprises a four-sided rectangular enclosure, sized to fit within the outer container leaving a gap between the outside surfaces of the inner container and the inside surfaces of the first cuboid box;
a plurality of spacers disposed between the inner container and the outer container, said spacers configures to maintain a gap, preferably devoid of material other than air or gas, between the inner container and the outer container.
