1. An exercise board comprising:
a foldable rigid support component configured to be of sufficient length to support a user lying horizontally, the rigid support component comprising at least a first segment and a second segment with each segment comprising an upper side surface and a lower side surface, each of the first segment and the second segment comprising at least one of a thermoplastic material and a thermoset material and having a reinforcing frame extending along a length and a width thereof;
a first cushion mounted to the upper side surface of the first segment and a second cushion mounted to the upper side surface of the second segment; and
at least one hinge connecting the first segment and the second segment that allows the exercise board to lay flat in a functional exercise position with substantially no gap between the first segment and the second segment at a region of the exercise board adjacent to the at least one hinge when the exercise board is in both folded and unfolded configurations, the at least one hinge allowing the board to fold closed during non-use with the lower side surface of the first segment in contact with the lower side surface of the second segment.
