1. An apparatus for transmitting data in a wireless audio video (AV) system, the apparatus comprising:
a processor configured to encode media data to generate a compressed bitstream; and
a communication unit configured to:
fragment the compressed bitstream,
map the fragmented compressed bitstream to a medium access channel (MAC) service data unit (MSDU);
generate a MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) sequentially including a MAC header, a frame body, and a frame check sequence (FCS) regarding the MAC header for transmission of the MSDU;
generate a PHY protocol data unit (PPDU) sequentially including a preamble to which at least a part of the MAC header is mapped, at least one PHY service data unit (PSDU) to which the frame body and the FCS are mapped, and a training (TRN) field; and
transmit the PPDU frame through a wireless channel,
wherein the preamble to which the at least a part of the MAC header is mapped is an enhanced directional multi-gigabit-header A (EDMG-header A),
wherein the EDMG-header A sequentially includes a frame control (FC) field, a duration field, a receiver address (RA) field, a length field, a quality of service (QoS) field and a frame check sequence (FCS) field, and does not include a transmitter address (TA) field and a basic service set identifier (BSSID) field,
wherein the frame body includes a header and a plurality of sub-bodies,
wherein the header of the frame body includes at least some control information of the MAC header of the MPDU, and
wherein the plurality of sub-bodies sequentially includes a sequence field, the MSDU, and an FCS regarding the MSDU.
