1. A device for delivering a powdered agent, comprising:
a canister extending longitudinally from a first end to a second end and defining an interior space within which the powdered agent is received;
an inlet coupleable to a gas source for supplying gas to the interior space to move the powdered agent received therewithin to create a gas mixture;
an outlet via which the gas mixture is delivered to a target area for treatment;
a tube extending from a first end to a second open end, the first end of the tube extending into the interior space and positioned adjacent to the first end of the canister, wherein the first end of the tube is in communication with the outlet, the second open end extending into the interior space and positioned adjacent to the second end of the canister, the tube including a slot positioned between the first end of the tube and the second open end, the slot extending through a wall thereof so that the gas mixture is passable from the interior space through the outlet via each of the second open end and the slot; and
a door disposed within the interior space of the canister, the door is movably coupled to the tube so that the door is configured to translate between the first end of the tube and the second open end of the tube, wherein the door is movable over the slot to control a size of the slot open to the interior space of the canister, thereby controlling a flow rate of the gas mixture passable from the interior space through the outlet.
