1. A device for tissue rejuvenation therapy, the device comprising:
an insertable body that is insertable into a cavity, the insertable body comprising:
a first shell portion forming an external surface of the insertable body and composed of a silicone material, and
a second shell portion within the first shell portion; and
a light emitting subsystem within the insertable body, the light emitting subsystem comprising:
a set of light emitters radially distributed about a longitudinal axis within the insertable body, and
a set of focusing components that focus light emitted from the set of light emitters onto a mucosa tissue within the cavity, during operation, to provide adjustment of light transmission to the mucosa tissue within the cavity.
