1. A display device, comprising:
a display panel which includes a plurality of pixels arranged in first to nth pixel rows, wherein n is a natural number greater than 1; and
a panel driver which drives the display panel in response to input image data during frame periods, and generates sensing data by sensing the plurality of pixels, each frame period comprises an active period and a vertical blank period,
wherein the panel driver randomly senses one of the first to nth pixel rows in each of a plurality of sensing frame periods when the input image data correspond to a low grayscale image to prevent a horizontal line from being recognized due to a sensing in the low grayscale image, wherein the sensing frame periods are repeated with consecutive non-sensing frame periods provided therebetween,
wherein, in the non-sensing frame periods, no sensing of the pixels is performed during the vertical blank period, and
wherein, in the sensing frame periods, sensing of the pixels is performed during the vertical blank period.
