1. A display device comprising:
a display panel including a plurality of pixels, the display panel displaying a first image including a fake-determination image pattern, the fake-determination image pattern including a first color pattern and a second color pattern, the luminance of the first color pattern being lower than the luminance of the second color pattern;
a photo sensor configured to sense light corresponding to a fingerprint sensing area of the display panel and to provide a sensing signal;
a fingerprint detector configured to determine whether a sensed fingerprint corresponding to the sensing signal is a fake fingerprint by comparing expected sensing light illuminance information based on the first image with sensed light illuminance information of the sensing signal; and
a touch sensor configured to sense a touch input and display a second image in which light is emitted in the entire fingerprint sensing area based on the touch input.
