1. A method comprising:
determining, based at least on sensor data obtained using a machine, a plurality of objects for tracking;
determining whether a number of objects included in the plurality of objects is equal to or greater than a threshold number of objects;
one of:
based at least on the number of objects being less than the threshold number of objects, performing tracking with respect to the plurality of objects; or
based at least on the number of objects being equal to or greater than the threshold number of objects, determining one or more values of one or more parameters associated with the plurality of objects and performing the tracking with respect to a portion of the plurality of objects based at least on the one or more values; and
causing the machine to navigate based at least on the tracking.
