1. A redundant array of inexpensive disks (RAID) controller comprising:
a plurality of channel interfaces configured to
receive a plurality of data strips from a plurality of channels, each of the data strips including a RAID identifier relating the data strip to a respective data stripe,
split each of the data strips into a plurality of pieces of split data,
create split identifiers based on a number of pieces of split data of each of the data strips,
store the split data, and
assign the split identifiers respectively to each of the plurality of pieces of split data, split identifiers being shared between at least two of the pieces of split data of different data strips;
a distributor configured to set, based on the split identifiers, a transmission path of the plurality of pieces of split data; and
a plurality of RAID buffer units configured to receive the split data through the distributor and manage parity data corresponding to the split data.
