1. A method for forming two separate flexible optical circuits, the method comprising:
providing a double flexible optical circuit including a flexible substrate supporting a plurality of optical fibers, with a first connector terminating the optical fibers at a first end of the double flexible optical circuit, and a second connector terminating the optical fibers at a second end of the double flexible optical circuit;
dividing the double flexible optical circuit in half to form the two separate flexible optical circuits; and
terminating free ends of each of the two separate flexible optical circuits.
