1. A method of making a substrate for biological analysis comprising:
(i) providing a substrate that has a surface comprising an epoxy-based resin and
(ii) contacting a biomolecule probe with the substrate that has a surface comprising an epoxy-based resin so that the biomolecule probe bonds directly to the epoxy-based resin;
wherein the substrate that has a surface comprising an epoxy-based resin is washed with dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) before the biomolecule probe is contacted with the substrate that has a surface comprising an epoxy-based resin.
