1. A blade assembly comprising:
an adapter board including an upper moldboard interfacing portion including a rear flat surface, and a front surface;
a lower tool bit attachment portion, including a lower rear surface and terminating in a lower adapter board free end, the lower adapter board free end defining a bottom surface defining a plurality of shank receiving bores; and
a plurality of bushings;
wherein each one of the plurality of bushings is disposed in a corresponding one of the plurality of shank receiving bores; and
the upper moldboard interfacing portion includes a series of retaining spring clip receiving apertures extending from the front surface to the rear flat surface, and the rear flat surface being located upward of the bushing and spaced forward of the lower rear surface so as to contact a tool bit inserted in the bushing to limit rotating thereof.
