1. A carpet tile comprising:
a facecloth comprising a primary backing and a plurality of face yarns extending through the primary backing, wherein the facecloth defines an upper surface of the carpet tile;
a resin secondary backing layer having a top surface bonded to the facecloth and an opposite bottom surface;
a reinforcing scrim layer consisting of fiberglass partially pressed into the bottom surface of the resin secondary backing layer; and wherein a nonirritating coating is applied to a bottom surface of the reinforcing scrim layer.
