1. A protective cover for a measurement device, wherein:
the measurement device comprises an insertion aperture for insertion of a test strip onto which a liquid sample is spotted;
the protective cover is inflected such that a rear face side thereof is recessed to match a shape of an end portion of the measurement device at which the insertion aperture is disposed, and the protective cover includes an opening portion at which the test strip is insertable; and
a first drawing portion is provided at a rear face side lower edge of the opening portion, the first drawing portion drawing the liquid sample by capillary force.
