1. A golf club head, comprising:
a golf club head body having a front, a rear, a crown, a sole, a toe, a heel; and a single recess formed in the sole,
wherein the front comprises a striking surface;
the single recess forming a recess surface on the sole,
wherein the recess surface is depressed from the sole toward the crown of the golf club head body,
the single recess extending in a front to rear direction along the sole of the golf club head body;
wherein the single recess comprises a major longitudinal axis extending generally in a front to rear direction;
wherein the single recess comprises of a recess first end and a recess second end;
wherein the major longitudinal axis is skewed, such that the single recess is angled with respect to a striking surface longitudinal axis that is generally transverse to the striking surface; and
wherein the single recess comprises a rectangular shape;
an adjustable weight member configured to be received in the single recess,
the adjustable weight member having a weight first end, a weight second end, and a center portion connecting the weight first end and the weight second end; and
wherein the adjustable weight member extends from the recess first end to the recess second end when received in the single recess,
wherein the adjustable weight member is also angled with respect to the striking surface longitudinal axis,
the weight first end has a different shape than the weight second end;
wherein the weight first end, has a first width, the weight second end has a second width, and the center portion of the adjustable weight member has a third width;
wherein the first width and second width are greater than the third width; and
wherein the first width and second width are approximately the same.
