1. A dishwashing appliance defining a mutually orthogonal vertical, lateral, and transverse direction, the dishwashing appliance comprising:
a housing frame defining a bottom end of the dishwashing appliance;
a wash tub supported on the housing frame, the wash tub extending along the vertical direction between an upper end and a lower end, the wash tub extending along the transverse direction between a rearward end and a forward end, the wash tub defining a wash chamber and a front opening to the wash chamber for receipt of articles for washing;
a damper brace disposed above the bottom end and below the wash chamber; and
a damper pad held between the damper brace and an outer surface of the wash tub in contact with the wash tub proximal to the forward end,
wherein the damper pad is disposed on the damper brace,
wherein the damper brace is mounted to the housing frame, and
wherein the housing frame comprises a pair of support brackets affixed respectively to a first and second lateral side of the wash tub outside of the wash chamber.
