1. A carry strap for a carrying bag, the carry strap comprising:
a first metallic wire or cable;
a second metallic wire or cable; and
a first elongated flexible material having a first side and a second side, the first elongated flexible material having a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge along its length, having first and second lateral regions along its length, and having a central region along its length in between the first and second lateral regions, the first lateral region folded around the first metallic wire or cable to enclose the first metallic wire or cable on the first side of the first elongated flexible material, and the second lateral region folded around the second metallic wire or cable to enclose the second metallic wire or cable on the first side of the first elongated flexible material.
