1. An aerosol delivery device comprising:
a control body configured to receive at least a portion of an aerosol source member; and
a heat source configured to heat to plurality of heat temperatures,
wherein the aerosol source member comprises a segmented substrate portion comprising a first substrate segment including a first aerosol former, and a second substrate segment including a second aerosol former different from the first aerosol former, the second substrate segment positioned between the first substrate segment and a downstream end of the aerosol source member, and wherein the first substrate segment has a first heat temperature and the second substrate has a second heat temperature that is less than the first heat temperature, and further comprising a third substrate segment including a third aerosol former, the third substrate segment positioned between the second substrate segment and a downstream end of the aerosol source member, wherein the third aerosol former is different than the first and second aerosol formers, and wherein the third substrate segment has a third heat temperature that is less than the second temperature,
wherein the first, second, and third substrate segments comprise respective first, second, and third volatility indexes, and wherein the volatility index of the first substrate segment is lower than the volatility index of the second substrate segment, and the volatility index of the second substrate segment is lower than the volatility index of the third substrate segment.
