1. A method for combating or controlling bed bugs, comprising applying a synergistically effective amount of a mixture of the active agents, alpha-cypermethrin and dinotefuran in a weight ratio of from 500:1 to 1:500 to said bed bugs, their habitat or breeding grounds, or inside human habitation buildings.
