30 Claims

1. A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:

determining that the UE is associated with one or more network subscriptions;

determining a subscriber identity module (SIM) state based on the one or more network subscriptions;

receiving, in a first medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), a query from a network device to trigger transmission of a subscription indication identifying the SIM state of the UE; and

transmitting, in a second MAC CE, the subscription indication to the network device.
