1. An imaging device, comprising:
a first substrate including a first pixel and a second pixel, wherein
the first pixel includes:
a photodiode configured to generate a charge; and
a first floating diffusion configured to hold the charge generated by the photodiode, and
the second pixel includes a second floating diffusion;
a second substrate including:
a first pixel circuit configured to read out a pixel signal based on the charge held in the first floating diffusion in the first pixel, wherein
the first pixel circuit includes a first selection transistor, and
the second substrate is on the first substrate; and
a second pixel circuit connected to the second pixel, wherein the second pixel circuit includes a second selection transistor;
a third substrate including a processing circuit configured to detect the pixel signal read out by the first pixel circuit, wherein the third substrate is on the second substrate; and
a switching unit configured to enable, based on the first selection transistor that is in an ON state and the second selection transistor that is in an OFF state, electrical connection between the first floating diffusion of the first pixel and the second floating diffusion of the second pixel in the first substrate, wherein the switching unit is in the second substrate.
