1. A monoclonal antibody that specifically binds a MERS coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 10, said antibody comprising a heavy chain variable domain consisting of an amino acid sequence of SEO ID NO: 7 and a light chain variable domain consisting of an amino sequence of SEQ ID NO: 8, wherein the antibody comprises 6 CDRs with the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1-6.
