1. A method for controlling an x-ray frame rate of an imaging system for a catheter procedure system, the method comprising:
determining, based on a first set of images obtained from the imaging system at a first frame rate, that an end of a first percutaneous device is located within a second percutaneous device;
in response to determining that the end of the first percutaneous device is located within the second percutaneous device, changing the first frame rate to a second frame rate;
and
displaying a second set of images obtained from the imaging system at the second frame rate.
