1. An aerosol generating device comprising:
a heater that is configured to heat an aerosol generating material;
a battery that is configured to supply power to the heater;
a sensor that is configured to sense puffs of aerosol; and
a controller comprising at least one processor, the controller configured to determine a power profile based on a time interval between the puffs and controls power supplied to the heater according to the determined power profile,
wherein the controller is configured to detect an end time of an n-th puff and a start time of an (n+1)th puff and determine a power profile for the (n+1)th puff based on a time interval between the start time and the end time, where n is a natural number.
