1. A user equipment (UE), comprising:
multiple universal subscriber identity module (MUSIM) circuitry;
a memory; and
processing circuitry coupled to the MUSIM circuitry and the memory, the processing circuitry configured to execute instructions stored in the memory to cause the UE to:
communicatively couple to a serving network; and
receive radio resource control (RRC) signaling including a measurement gap configuration for at least one of: a periodic measurement gap (P-MG), or an aperiodic measurement gap (AP-MG);
switch, within the P-MG or the AP-MG, from the serving network to a target network; and
receive a system information block (SIB) from the target network within the P-MG or the AP-MG.
