1. A circuit comprising:
a tuning control circuit configured to:
receive a fine tuning signal from an analog control loop and a coarse tuning signal from a digital control loop;
determine whether an oscillator is operating within a frequency range based on the fine tuning signal and the coarse tuning signal; and
generate one or more tuning selection signals indicating selection of one of tuning circuits when the oscillator is operating within the frequency range,
wherein the tunning control circuit comprises a boundary checker configured to receive the fine tuning signal and the coarse tuning signal.
