1. A method for calibrating a free running oscillator in a circuit of an electronic device, the method comprising:
determining that the circuit of the electronic device is in an awake state;
measuring an indication of frequency of the free running oscillator in response to the circuit being in the awake state; and
calibrating a frequency of the free running oscillator based on the indication of frequency and the circuit being in the awake state, wherein the measuring the indication of frequency comprises measuring a pulse count difference of pulses output by the free running oscillator and a reference clock for a number of pulses output by the reference clock in response to the circuit being in the awake state; and the calibrating the frequency of the free running oscillator comprises calibrating the frequency of the free running clock based on a determined pulse count difference and the circuit being in the awake state.
